Freezing problem / CPU states

    We've been having a problem lately with one of our servers freezing. It happens at odd times, so it doesn't look like it's a cron job anywhere on the system. We've been unable to track down why the server is crashing, but after the last hard reboot, I checked the top logs in the /var/log/dcpumon/ directory, and found this:

    Now, I didn't paste the processes because they aren't important ... but look at the CPU %'s. That does NOT add up to 100%. Any ideas?

    Dear kcdworks,

    Iam not sure about the freezing problem. The server load could be a reason for that(above 2 is a bit high). If you have given the process list,that would have provided some clue about the process taking too much of server resources.

    But your cpu % total count need not be 100%. That shouldnot be a problem for you.
