    I keep getting the following error when installing for the first time:

    http://download.fedora.redhat.com/p...primary.xml.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum

    this happens until serveral mirror sites are exhausted. I get serveral errors after that, in the install process, and I don't get a working cpanel (sometimes it stops and wants input when it tries to compile Spamassassin).

    This happens on a fresh install of RedHat Fedora Core 4 on a x86_64 machine using the following options:
    selinux disabled
    firewall disabled
    minimal install

    using the following install commands:

    mkdir /home/cpins
    cd /home/cpins
    wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest
    sh latest

    Is there a fix for this in the works?

    (sorry for the double post)

    check /etc/yum.conf to have the correct mirrors for fedora-4

    thanks alot.
    I edited the yum.conf file and that seem to fix the checksum errors.
