Fresh install on centos 5.1

    Hey,

    I have a problem on installation of cpanel, i have this error on log

    Code:
    Warning, yum might be hung.  Please check your mirror configuration in /etc/yum.conf

    my yum.conf

    the install began there 12 hours and nothing :)


    Help please.

    Did you check the repos listed in /etc/yum.repos.d to make sure that they there and in the proper format - name.repo? My system lists two: CentOS-Base.repo and CentOS-Media.repo

    Next you should open the files using your favorite editor. Check the URL's of the listed mirrors and make sure that you server can resolve those names and connect.

    If you find that you cannot resolve or connect to those mirrors, then you will need to resolve your connectivity or DNS issues first.

    Hope this gives you some starting points.
