Hey Guys,

I've been playing around with WHM, getting more familiar with it as potential hosting software for my design business. I did notice the first few times I installed it on a sandbox machine, that when I browsed to WHM the very first time the SSL was perfectly valid and issued by cPanel. Well, this is the 3rd time I've installed it and I'm getting a site not secure error and the certificate is a self signed one. Did I do something wrong during the installation?

I also went to, "Manage Service SSL Certificates" and reset the certificate and this did not fix the issue. Any ideas?

Was the DNS added at a later time for the hostname, it has to be a valid hostname at the time that cPanel tries to generate the SSL.

Try running the following in SSH:

Code:
# /usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts
