I have a client who has just purchased one of our hosting plans. He has an existing site at another host. He wants to upload his current site onto our server - its a Frontpage site - but he can't - for some reason Frontpage won't give him access to upload. It gives him an error message about AllowOverride needs to be set to something other than "NONE" - or something of this sort.

When he tries to connect to upload he uses the server IP (because his domain hasn't propogated yet) - can this be done? - or is he being denied access because his domain name has not propogated? Or is this error due to something else?

This is a Frontpage problem. It will not upload to sites via IP addresses, it requires a valid domain. There is nothing you can do about it either really. A possible work around is have him upload to and give his login details. We have had some that were able to get around it this way, but others have claimed it doesn't work either if their pages call the pages by domain/page.
