Hi y'all,

I have a client with FP 2000 and a form on his site.

This error is received when you try to use the form:

PHP:
FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log
for more details.
Then in the form I found this:
PHP:
<form method="POST" action="_vti_bin/shtml.exe/registration.htm" onsubmit="" name="Reunion Registration" webbot-action="--WEBBOT-SELF--">
There is no shtml.exe file.

I tried installing the mail extension and reinstalling the FP extensions (and installing the mail extensions again)

still no go.

Anyone have any ideas that may help me? Nothing in the error log - so I'm rather baffled at the moment.

I had a client with the same problem a few weeks ago. In his case, it turned out that he was publishing with FrontPage in "ftp" mode rather than using FrontPage extensions mode. Once he took FrontPage out of ftp mode, and republished, his forms worked fine.

well that didn't help - And now he's trying to save the results to a file.

I checked with the microsoft knowledge base and what they say the problem is, is not what the problem is.

So I'm just plain old confused.
