I have several sites on a Cpanel RH6.2 box giving errors when users try to edit pages with Frontpage. The errors are

[code:1:0504f701f8]Server error: write error on file \"about.html.tmp\"[/code:1:0504f701f8]
And:
[code:1:0504f701f8]Server error: can\'t close file \".about.html.tmp\"[/code:1:0504f701f8]

Any ideas? I\'m looking into it now, havn\'t found anything yet, but will post what I find what\'s going on.

Permissions on /public_html and within are probably not sufficient for an FP web....
what do they look like now?

Currently they look like:
[code:1:10dc18c59d]drwxr-xr-x 12 username username 4096 Jan 14 22:57 public_html/[/code:1:10dc18c59d]

That looks fine, its the same recurrsively too, right?

Hmmm, then I would check permissions within /usr/local/frontpage .....
Compare to other working boxes. Or is it just isolated to a virtual host?

Anything more in /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log that could yield some help here?

Bahahahahaaha

No prob-
basically lately with the product moving towards the cleanest (bugg-less_ish)... ? that it\'s been for a long time... 90% of the causes of any whine that a customer in a shared plan has is caused becuase they breached their quota.

So yea \'n shite.
Have a good evening/week/life
