We are starting to get a lot of reports with clients having trouble installing Frontpage Extensions through their control panel. The error message they receieve:

    Code:
    Starting install, port: 80.

    Creating web [url]http://www.domain.com.[/url]
    Chowning Content in service /.
Error: An access setup description is required when creating the root web.

    No such file or directory

When I run unsetupfp4 from the command line, followed by setupfp5 on that domain, the extensions are successfully installed. Is this a bug in the way that the Control Panel calls the Frontpage Extensions installer?

I updated Cpanel and several other problems have been fixed (a load of mail finally cleared the queue) and FP worked, but FP has been hit or miss so will advise in a few days.
