frontpage problem does not install on a ip address

    Hello ,

    one of my client received following error attempting to install FP extensions :

    =================
    Frontpage 5 installer loaded ok..
    Scanning httpd.conf..X....X..X...X...X....X..X...X...X...X...X...X...X...X...X...X...X...X....X..X...X...X...X...X....X..X...X...X...X...X....X..X...X...X....X..X...X....X..X....X...X...X.
    Removing .htaccess files
    Note: Local version of Apache must use the FrontPage Apache patch.
    Starting install, port: www.123.com.

    Creating web http://www.123.com.
    Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file &service.lck&. Please check the file permissions.

    Starting chown, port: 80, web: &/&.

    Error: The FrontPage Server Extensions are not installed on 'www.123.com:80'.
    Searching for domains without mail extensions...
    Setting Password

    He is receiving the error because the domain name is still not transferred , is it correct ? In other words is not possible to install fp extensions on an ip address , is it correct or am I wrong ?

    Take a closer look at this line:

    &Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file &service.lck&. Please check the file permissions.&

    I have other account using frontpage without any problem ....
