frontpage publish to subdomain?

Is it possible to publish via Frontpage to a subdomain?

The main domain has the extension installed and works. Would I use the same user/pw as the main to publish to sub? I tested it, seemed like it overwrote the main.

subdomain is but a folder inide the main domain, so u could easily publish with the main domain uname and pass.

Yes so basically I have to input the path such as http://domain.com/subfolder ?
