FTP access to log files - error in cpanel?

    If you go to
    Cpanel > FTP Manager > FTP Accounts
    you can see the text:
    When logging into the ftp server please use the username exactly as it appears below. If the username includes a "@", make sure to include it when logging in. Example: Use "" and not "john".

    and below there is something like:

    are you able to log-in to this account? I found that it's impossible... however, the links at tha bottom of that module, which gives you access to individual log files works OK. DOn't you think that this is error in Cpanel? The "@domain" part of the login should not be here... BTW, you can access to any site logs this way! Even not your own! Is there any way to prevent this?
