FTP Access

Hello,

I am a total rookie to this product but trying to learn. I am trying to set up FTP access to my server but no go, just says connection refused. I am using the main account
The ftp server is installed

Right now its set to pure-ftpd. I have the option to go to proftpd. I am not sure of the difference perhaps someone could explain that to me.

Any ideas on what I should do to figure out why i cant connect

actually i just managed to get in, but i would like to know the diff between pure and prof if someone would mind sharing their wisdom?

Login to WHM and goto FTP configuration.

There is a chart that shows the differences between the two pieces of software.
