Hello
in my Cpanel , I added new FTP with the name "genius" and it's details as following
FTP Username: [email protected]
FTP server: ftp.mydomain.com
FTP & explicit FTPS port: 21

now if I want to add it in windows as network location it wont work as the username contains "@" in the username
it give me error
---------------------------
FTP Folder Error
---------------------------
Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder.
Details:
The URL is invalid

because the path is "ftp://[email protected]%40ftp.mydomain.com/"
how to solve this problem ?

Hey there! I don't believe there will be a good workaround for this for a custom FTP user, as Microsoft restricts the @ symbol for usernames and domains:

If you want this configured, your best option may be to use the main cPanel user itself, as that user doesn't need the full "[email protected]" address to connect to FTP. Only the cPanel username would be required.

after many trials , I logged in successfuly
I added the ftp just like usual but in the username input I changed the "@" sign with " %40"
and it worked.
