FTP account not found issue

Hello!

I'm new here and I'm also a complete novice and essentially have no idea what I'm doing!

I'm building a very simple site through - Removed - or sitter as I believe it's know. whenever I got to publish it I get an error saying FTP account not found...


Can anybody help?!

Hello Andy,

Are you using the cPanel username and password to authenticate via FTP? If so, can you confirm that those same credentials allow you to access cPanel (e.g. domain.tld:2083)? Also, make sure the hostname you are using in your FTP client resolves to the correct IP address.
