FTP being accessed from local host all the time.

I have a server crashing every day 2 or 3 times. I cannot find why but the message log is full of this..

what is causing access to the FTP damen all the time?

That's from chkservd, monitoring that ftp is up and running.

Yep I think you are right I was trying to figure it out but has to be running every 8 minutes.
