    Hi!
Can anyone tell me how many times you can try to login to FTP before cpanel blocked your IP off from the server ?

I found my clients always be blocked from login to server because they enter the wrong password for FTP (or login to control panel, I am not so sure), I need to know some numbers and how to release them when this happened.

unless you have some sort of Brute force dectetor installed (BFD) your clients can log in and fail as many times as they want

And if BFD is installed then by default this trigger value is 10.

Thanks a lot, how can I change the BFD setting to allow more/less times instead of 10 ?

    /etc/apf/deny_hosts.rules

It would be better to ask such questions at http://forums.rfxnetworks.com or just read out the threads there to get more info bout APF and BFD.
