ftp connecting from the server to the server over and over.

Has anyone seen ftp connect to itself or to the server it is on over and over?

Oct 11 12:30:36 hostname pure-ftpd: ([email protected]) [INFO] New connection from 127.0.0.1

I have hundreds of these in my messages file.
