    Hi all,

When i am trying to download stuff from my own ftp account on the server some files are transfered, but 90% of the other files transfer to 60% then somehow the connection to the server is lost.
I think it can be cause of currupted files?

EDIT: Some times it works to transfer all files, so it cant be cause of currupted files.

    --------------------------
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards Tetsou

    Hi tetsou,

Increase your FTP timeout value in your FTP configuration(/etc/proftpd.conf) file.

    eg:
    timeout 900

    Regards,
    :)

I'm having the same problem on pureftpd.

That files doesn't even exist for me.

    root@server [~]# locate pureftpd.conf
    root@server [~]# locate proftpd.conf
    /etc/proftpd.conf.tmpeditlib
    /etc/proftpd.conf.bytes
    /etc/proftpd.conf-
    /etc/proftpd.conf,v
    /etc/proftpd.conf.rpmsave
    /scripts/proftpd.conf.default.bsd
    /scripts/proftpd.conf.default
    /backup/cpbackup/daily/files/_etc_proftpd.conf.gz
    /backup/cpbackup/daily/files/_etc_proftpd.conf
    /backup/cpbackup/weekly/files/_etc_proftpd.conf.gz
    /backup/cpbackup/weekly/files/_etc_proftpd.conf
    /backup/cpbackup/monthly/files/_etc_proftpd.conf.gz
