Hello guys,

I'm always getting this when try to add something in Wordpress: FTP credentials don't allow to write to file /.htaccess
This is a general problem from cPanel or Apache. I tried a lot of way to fix but I couldn't. This problem is about permission denied, right? Please help me find a way to fix this.

Thanks!

I tried to Chmod files and folder but it still not working :(

Hello :)

Is this a specific WordPress plugin you are using, or a specific option within the WordPress administrative interface? Are you accessing FTP as the cPanel account username or with a virtual FTP account that's limited to a specific directory? What are the permission and ownership values on the .htaccess file within the document root of the WordPress installation?

Thank you.

It looks same Apache2 doesn't allow me to write my .htaccess.
Could you elaborate on this statement? Were you able to determine the answers to the questions from my previous response?

Thank you.
