Ftp, exim, cppop with xinetd?

Does anyone know if these can all be changed to use xinted?

Ive got problems with dos attacks and would like to use the rate limiting features of xinetd.

um - proftpd is compiled with librap - which you should use to limit access - you really don't want to run the whole service via Xinetd tho

I dont think that would give you the same features xinetd would. Such as rate limiting.

Would still need to know if its possible for the other services also.
