Ftp funktioniert nicht

hallo,

ich habe whm und habe einen account erstellt, doch die ftp funktioniert nicht woran kann es legen? laut smart ftp client lieg es daran

Please see what you have put in the Address field. You will need the valid hostname of an ftp server or a valid IP address.

If connecting through the favorites. Only the name or address of the FTP server belongs in the host section. You should not include URL or path information in this field.

If you have verified that the hostname is correct, there may be a problem with your DNS server (or with your ISP's DNS server if you are a standalone user). It may be unable to resolve hostnames to IP addresses.
At this point it would be a good idea to contact your ISP about the problem, or network administrator.

aber die ip und so stimmt alles. kann mir jemand helfen?

Antwort: Nicht imstande den Hostnamen aufzulösen.

Da kann die IP 100x richtig sein. Solange die Domain nicht auf diese IP auflöst wird das nichts.
Versuchs mal direkt mit der IP-Adresse.

Hallo rothilo ,

deine Domain mit der du versucht per FTP auf deinen Account zuzugreifen ist entweder nicht registriert oder die DNS-Einträge sind falsch. Solange die Domain nicht per DNS auf deinen Server routet, kannst du über die Domain keine Verbindung aufbauen.

Entweder korregierst du den Fehler bei der Domain oder wie Pixelpirat bereits geschrieben hat, einfach als Host die IP statt der Domain verwenden.
