FTP issue while trying to upload 100's of file !!!

Hello All,

I have a client who is trying to upload images and they are more than 500 files and not very big in size either.

But every time he tries to upload, after a few seconds the transfer stops in abruptly and he has to wait for for a few minutes before he can resume again.

Or at times he also gets this error "421 Too many connections from this ip"

Can any one shed some light on this ? or any assistance will be highly appreciated.

Click on "FTP Server Configuration" in WHM and look for the setting "Maximum Connections Per IP Address"

Your client should also be able to limit the number of connections his FTP software is making.

A much quicker way to upload a directory of images (for example) would be to compress the directory and use the cPanel File Manager to extract them once uploaded to server.

"Too Many Connections..." is what it is. Why would you want someone to open hundreds of connections to your server?
