ftp, it just stopped working, why? [moved]

ftp, it just stopped working, why?

I was making a copy of my index via ftp, the folder is rufly 100mb or so. So I left it on all night. When I wake up the next morning to go see. The download was complete but for some reason I cant Connect again. It sais Authentication Failed. Im useing FileZilla. I can connect fine on the other accounts, the ones that dont have "/Public_html/" Access.

Any ideas guys? I need ftp becuase of how often I mod my php system. Its hard to make backups when your editing if you cant download via file manager becuase its got hacking protection. I can edit a file via file manager, but then If I mess up I have to go remove it manuall rather then just uploading the old one...

But anyways.. anyone know what happend?

The passowrd did not change.
It is on my main ftp account.
If I create another one the same thing happends.

ok I figured out was it was..

I cant log in now ither..
meaning the password was changed...

As has been said before, you should be asking such questions of your web hosting provider, not here.

I've no idea who your web hosting provider is - presumably whoever you pay for your hosting.
