Seeing the same issues on a couple of servers, running the latest release version and pure-ftpd. 530 Authentication Failed , when trying to download raw logs.

    Same here.
The main account cpanel login is fine. Frontpage login with main account is also OK. BUT ftp login with main username and password result in a 530 authentication failure. This is NOT on all accounts on the server just a few new accounts. I'm using WSFTP-PRO and can log into most other accounts without this error.

    Run
    /scripts/ftpupdate

It will sync the FTP passwords. It is a temporary solution until cPanel updates STABLE branch to S27...

It seems that only username_logs@domain works and username_logs are no longer accepted.
    New accounts don't have username_logs file in /etc/proftpd .

This breaks the links to access logs which is in Cpanel FTP Accounts Page. :(
Some of our users complain about this.
Hope cpanel techs fix this issue.

    Go on, have a guess
Have you reported it via bugzilla and a ticket through your license provider? If not, they may not be aware of it.
