Okay I have set up a few subdomains as I am going to freely host a few friends webpages.
But the thing is, I'm only allowed one personally created ftp account.
But I don't want all of my hostees to be able to access my folders.
Is there a way to set it up so I can create the one ftp account to access a folder that holds all of their accounts but not mine?
don't forget that they're getting subdomains.
    http://subdomain.mysite.com/
    NOT
    http://www.mysite.com/their folder/
Could someone reccomend a way to do this?
    Thanks.

In the directory box just put a "/". This will give the account read/write access to the entire publid_html directory and consequently any subdomain folders. You'll just need to trust your users to do the right thing. ;)

Thanks, that is actually what I have done. I trust them all to do the RIGHT thing, I just hope they don't delete all of my files completely by accident "oh no! I was in the wrong file when I deleted everything!" lol.
