I know that I can connect useing www.domainname.com with a FTP program, but can I connect useing a IP address such as 72.232.76.68 ? If so how would I enter it to get to the account I want. (IE ftp://ftp.72.232.76.68:2082/smapts)
Reason I'm asking is I have 2 different servers with different IP address. I have an account on one server and I want to transfer it to the other server before I change the DNS, that way when I change the DNS the site will already be there. I know that I can use the file upload through cpanel but thats really a slow process, (I have over 100 files to upload)
Any help would be great!
