    Hello,
I have got some problem with the FTP server on my serverunit.
Somehow it suddenly dissapeared, there is no pure-ftpd directory in /etc/rc.d/init.d and I can not do anything through the WHM. Restarting FTP ends with a failure and changing the FTP service from or to pure-ftpd doesn't work either.
How can I solve this issue? I don't know how it happened but it has to be solved ASAP. Do I have to reinstall pure-ftpd manually? Please help me.
    Regards,
    Chris

Have you tried forcing an update? cPanel checks all files needed for the system to work proper, you might start there.

    It failed.
I have run "/scripts/upcp --force" and the result was:
    "[...]failed, exited with code 6400"
    Does that code say anything?
    Regards,
    Chris

For me it says, open a support ticket with cPanel Support. In your WHM, top right corner is a menu. Opening it you'll see a link to Support. I suggest you contact cPanel via that link on this issue.
