    Hey all!

I'm unable to access addon FTP accounts. The special ftp accounts work, but upon adding a new account, login always fails. I've reset passwords several times, used Syncronize FTP Passwords, restarted pure-ftpd, all to no avail.

    Any ideas?

Here's what I'm getting from Filezilla

    Code:
    Command:	AUTH TLS
    Response:	234 AUTH TLS OK.
    Status :	Initializing TLS...
    Status :	Verifying certificate...
    Command:	USER access
    Status :	TLS/SSL connection established.
Response:	331 User access OK. Password required
    Command:	PASS **************
    Response:	530 Login authentication failed

Are you aware that the username has the form "user@domain.com"?

For additional FTP accounts, you need to use the full username, including the domain name. This is because they are not system users. They are virtual users that do not exist in the system's /etc/passwd file.

You do not need to specify the domain when you log into FTP as the cPanel account user, because it is a system user.

    In:

    Code:
    Command:	USER access
is access a cPanel account user, or an additional FTP user you created? If the former, it should work; if the latter, it is the reason for the authentication error. You need to use the @domain if it is an additional FTP account.
