Hello, we have a dedicated server and whenever we attempt to upload a file or try to overwrite a file, we recieve a 550 Permission denied error. We have tested this with several different ftp clients all giving the same error. We also get permission denied when trying to upload a file through the "File Manager" in cPanel.

My question, if this is a permission problem, how can we give the correct permissions to the user through WHM or cPanel. Uploading files worked previously. This error showed up out of nowhere. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. The files that are being attempted to be overwritten all have 644 permission.

Server Management fixed the problem for us. Not sure how. If anyone has an idea how they did it, it would be appreciated so I can do it myself if this problem ever rises again.

We are also have this issue when I try to overwrite several file. We get a 550 Can't create directory: File exists. If I upload 1 at a time it works fine. Server is running FTP Pro and I tried different FTP Porgrams and had the same issue with all of them
