Ftp Problem

    Hello,

    after the upgrade to Cpanel 9.9.6 R if you try to open a Ftp account via browser u can't connect, but it work fine with normal ftp client

    i am using Pure Ftp

    Hello ...

    What error message you get when you try from browser?
    1)ftp://domain.com/
    user name = user
    password = pwd
    please check save pwd option.

    i can't enter any user and psw, i get Unable to connect on the server .... all my customers have the same problem

    check your browser settings.

    IE: Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced
    Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem capability)

    That is all I had to do, It allows me now to connect to all my servers.

    Hello,

    Please check are you abel to access ftp://server-ip...
    if you are using firewall please stop the firewal and re-test the ftp..
