    Hi,

I am getting error error 550 while trying to upload a page via FTP to the users account. (550 order00.htm: Permission denied)

I transfered the site by tar'ing his old site, wget'ing it across and untar'ing. No option in WHM to X'fer these type of sites across.

I had to chmod some files/folders still with no luck. One thing I did notice is this:
    -rw-r--r-- 1 1114 1612 7346 Dec 21 2002 order00.htm
    however this should be:
    -rw-r--r-- 1 USERNAME USERNAME 7346 Dec 21 2002 order00.htm

My guess is the permission is being denied as the file thinks the username is wrong and won't allow to overwrite.

Anyway to change this, or any ideas what else might be wrong?

    Thanks.

The owner of the files IS wrong, it's still set to the old server's UID and GID.

You need to recursively chown the home directory to the username and group applicable.
