    HI

I use code CodeIgniter PHP framework for a large application I run. What we do is connect to
various cPanel APIs on many different hosting platforms on behalf of the authenticated user
That uses are system. Lately i have been seeing a common issue where we cannot use the
FTP class to upload files to the /public_html/ on a given hosting service using the main
cPanel Login credentials for that account holder.

When I diagnosed it manually, i can use a regular FTP client like Transmit or FileZilla
using the same credentials and upload files correctly.

Has something changed with cPanel that its returning an error to PHP on file uploads?
You think this is a permission issue?

    Please help

    Thanks!
    Ricky

    Hello,

Please post the error message when you try to upload the files using filezilla for better understanding.

    Hello :)

It seems like an issue with the application you are using for FTP if it works normally under a client such as FileZilla. Do you notice any errors in /var/log/messages when FTP authentication fails?

    Thank you.
