    Hey,

I have 1 shared hosting account that is working using add-on domains and sub-domains.

For some reason some of the sites aren't being indexed properly by google - The site has thousands of pages, but might just have 2-3 indexed.

One the same account, other sites have 47k+ indexed - Not on the main domain.

All sites are linked to, so should be working and indexed properly.

A few are subdomains of my main account domain, others are under a folder but using their own domain.

Can anyone tell me how exactly cPanel is handling this so I can get all sites indexed please

    Thanks!

Where does cPanel come in at with this? Some accounts it works, some it doesn't, might mean you should look closer at the one that doesn't. Or see if you can find out more using googles own tools:

    Thanks for the reply.

The problem is that it is only happening for sites that are subdomains - However other sites that are add-ons are fine.

I just wanted to know how cPanel makes a difference for subdomains and add-on domains when an account is created.
If I know the difference of how it works through cPanel I can work on it :)

    Thanks again

Add-on domains only lets you add another domain to your account whille sub-domains only creates a record inside DNS template with line as Site 63 ip here or something like that it doesen't use it's own template for the sub-domains, Whille add-on domains creates a new DNS template i think for the new domain.

I will have to look closer to this once i get home.
