gcc compile problems

    I have a client who has jailed shell access and compiler priveleges who wants to use gcc in his account

    he setup a test file but it comes back with the following:

    he is also tryign to install a script called httrack-3.32.03 and gets the following error:

    anyone have any ideas?

    I've ran into the same problem. Switching to normal shell doesn't fix it. The compiler works fine as root.

    do this ls -l /usr/bin/gcc see what the permissions are on it, if you disabled compilers in the past and turn it back on, it doesnt put the permissions back the way it should be, other then that dunno for sure, just soemthing Ive ran into before
