GD Library help (tried apache update)

Hi,

I used the apache update and checked the gd option, but phpinfo shows that php was not compiled with gd option. Same with php -m.

I'm not sure where to go from this point. Can anyone suggest what action I should take to get gd up and running?

update the GD Libs using yum. Then try and recompile using easyapache.
