    If this is linux and rpm based login to your using ssh,

    and so this
    Code:
    rpm -qa | grep gd

    You should get these
    Code:
    gd-2.0.28-4.4E.1
    gd-devel-2.0.28-4.4E.1
    gd-progs-2.0.28-4.4E.1

    if you don't have those install them,

    To verify if the php support gd make file named phpinfo.php with these content

    Code:
    <?php
    phpinfo();
    ?>

    The output should have detail about gd there

    hope that helps
