    How to install/activate?

One php script says that "There is no GD-Library-Support enabled"

Still, as far as I can understand there are packages on the server:

gd-2.0.34_1,1 A graphics library for fast creation of images
    gdbm-1.8.3_2 The GNU database manager

    So what to do?

Our administrator asks if php was installed from ports or from packages, during the cPanel installation?

I'd recommend if you are attempting to recompile PHP, go to WHM -> Software -> Apache Update, click "Load Previous Config" then follow the on-screen instructions. Under PHP, simply check the box for GD and proceed with the process.

That's the easiest and best way to do this in a cPanel/WHM environment.
