I recently was forced to changed my shared server plan which came with a preconfiged GD Library to a Dedicated server with Cpanel 11. The script my site runs requires I have GD Library loaded as a php extension. Having some problems getting this to work, as it's the first time I'm using putty and such. Could someone please take the time to write a little tutorial on how to enable this. I will forever be grateful.

    The actual error:
    * will not work without GD Library loaded as a PHP extension. Until this problem is fixed you will not be able to use *

You can enable GD using easyapache script.

Login in to server as root.

    /scripts/easyapache

If your easyapache version is 3, then an white screen will open,

There you can customize your settings. Select gd and ttf as both are necessary.

Take a backup of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf before proceeding.

I m sure i cant help you easily. if need more clarifications, contact me at gmail or AIM.
