Here's my dilema, my site is taking up around 15gb worth of space and I've only 10gb free space left in /home. I, however, have 35gb free space under /backup directory.

I'm wondering if it's possible to generate a full site backup under cpanel but specifying /backup as the directory to hold the file rather than the default user /home directory?

I'm planning to move the site over to another server, thus I need to generate a backup.

Anyone faced with such dilema before? What's your advice on this?

    Backup

If you are having a dedicated server, you can use the "Configure Backup" option in your WHM to take the backups of your accounts.
Give the Backup Destination as /backup

    I hope this helps...
