    hi

    well the topic tells it

    after searching, googleing, reading FAQ's i'm lost

    i cant get cpsrvd, cppop off 0.0.0.0 and to listen on just one IP

    i found the /usr/local/cpanel/etc/cpanel.config were the port is specified:

    port=2082

    i tried several this adding a ip
    like
    port=1.2.3.4:2082
    listen=1.2.3.4

    but nothing helped :(

    can anyone tell me how this can be done ?

    PS: i dont want to block it with some firewalls

    Go on, have a guess
    I've not come across any way to restrict the cPanel processes to a single IP address. You'll probably have to ask cPanel directly if there is a way, otherwise, as you've noted, you'd have to do it using a firewall.

    Currently there is no way to do this without a firewall
