Getting Information, Stats etc via API / XML

HI

Is there any way for a coder to get general & account information, Stats etc etc via API / XML ?
Otherwise one needs to write a scrapping routine to extract all this info which is quite unstable.

Would CPanel / WHM have this feature later ?
