Hey Guys... I'm new at the website thing and I have the html code pretty much figured out... but I'm having a serious issue.

I've made my homepage with Dreamweaver.... index.html

It's uploaded onto my File Manager under my public_html folder, now here's the part I'm struggling with. How do I actually make those files go from that folder to actually being visible on the internet for my Homepage? Can anybody walk me through step by step? Should it already be showing up on my page?

Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

By default the index.html file in /home/username/public_html/ should be visible to the public world if you have setup a hosting account and directed the A NAME record for the domain to point to the server that you are hosting the website on.

Alright, I've got the file in the correct directory, but I'm still having issues. Is there an Upload to file site? Can anybody tell me step-by-step what I need to do? Here are some screen shots to help.

If that file is indeed in your ~/public_html directory (in your screenshot it is in ~/www which is merely an alias/symlink for ~/public_html) and you have cleared the cache in your web browser and it is still not showing up, you could contact your web hosting provider.

If you are trying to access the site using the domain name of wagnerdiving.com it does not look like the naemservers are set correctly. The domain is pointing to your registrar's default parked page. You will need to contact your webhosting company and get the correct nameservers to use and then change them with your registrar.

Yep it is currently pointing to namecheap.com also in your cpanel check the parked domains to make sure there are no domains being parked.
