Hello!
Good day everyone!
Hope I ask in the right thread!

I would like to ask a question about Git version control in Cpanel.

I have a Wordpress site and I'd like to keep a version in Github to keep track all the website versions as well as to see what files changed.
I'm a beginner in using Git and trying to do this task. But I have a problem with reading your documentation, I'm not sure if I should clone all my website databases (which is already existed) or should I create a new repo?
I tried to do both, but then got stuck at command lines, I'm not sure if I use command lines for the terminal in my local computer or in the Cpanel. I tried with my local computer and it didn't work. And while I'm still confusing if I should clone or create a new repo, I'm afraid to try the built-in terminal in Cpanel.

I tried to google, and read docs,..but couldn't get an answer, or it's just too complicated for a beginner.

Please guide me on how to do it right!
(ps: I know how to create and import SSH key to Github)
My OS and vers:
PHP: 7.2.30
OS: linux

Thanks and Best Regards,
Tam
