All of a sudden apache starts failing.

When trying to start it, I get the following:

Syntax error on line 210 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /lib/i686/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.2' not found (required by /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6)

It seems something is wrong with glibc.

    How do I correct this?

The nightly update caused the problem.

    We must wait for cpanel........<sigh>

Run easyapache with option 2. Apache works without gd but works.

    I solved it!

WHM - Software - Install an RPM

    Reinstall:

    glib2
    glib
    glib-common

Make sure you select both "Ignore Dependicies" and "Force Install (required if reinstalling a package)"

I already tried this before in another order (first common, then glib) but that didn't work out so I guess the order is of some importance.

I also first upgraded to Edge version, that may be the reason too.

    Any questions are welcome.

NNNils, I don't know why, but that didn't help on my server. :(

Also, why is it happening only on one of the servers if it is due to the nightly cPanel upgrade

This is nuts. All of my servers are going down because of this problem. This needs to be addressed immediately. I've tried everything. 15 servers down. Real nice.
