I am trying to set global aliases so that I can have

    email1@domain1.com
    email1@domain2.com
    email1@domain3.com
    etc
    etc
    etc

    share the same alias file.

    email1: email2@anothersite.com email3@anothersite.com

    etc etc

I found Nick Pack's solution for exim:
    http://www.carbonstudios.co.uk/site/44/181.html

I applied it, then sent an email to postmaster@domain1.com I also tried email1@domain.com as well.

I am not getting rejected emails (that's a plus) and I am getting delivery.
I am also forwarding to gmail. For some reason its not going there.

Looks like this is an excellent solution.

No need to add a million accounts or forwarders in CPanel.

My mistake. It sends to emails only on the server. Mail accounts with domains not on the server it will not send. This is very strange.
