    Security Issues...

There are security issues with installing it this way.

Any user on the box can login using any domain hosted on the box.

    ??

What's the security issue in that?
You can access :2095/2096 using another domain hosted on the server too.

How do you figure? So everyone on the box knows everyone elses password? Whats different to squirrelmail as opposed to Horde? Same login process. You dont have a password you dont get in.

Yes, but if I were to enter a domain other than my own to login, I then have myusername@thatotherdomain.com to send email as. There appears to be no work around on cPanel.

Why would you be using another domain name? And provided you knew all the domains on the box, one has to log in as userid@domain.com and have the proper password to do it. And that doesnt work on my box either.

    There are plugins to:
    1. ask the user for personal info if not entered.
    2. to make users use username instead of username@domain.com but this will prevent accessing the main account of the domain using sqmail
