    In Apache, I have
    Alias /mail /usr/local/mail
That works great for anyone that goes to http://www.theirdomain.com/mail

I would also like any user on any domain to be able to visit:
    http://mail.theirdomain.com
and be redirected to the same /usr/local/mail

I know I can set this up with subdomains per account, but I want to modify apache or dns so it is global for everyone automatically.

    How can I do this?

    Thank you.
