Any idea what this guy is talking about?

    Hi,

I would like to bring to your attention that a lot of name-servers
are having trouble resolving DNS data in the rwhmax.net and/or
    mivo.net zones. (ns[12].rwhmax.net are authoritive for mivo.net.)

I think the problem is caused by the fact that the 0.net
zone does not contain A records for ns1.rwhmax.net and
    ns2.rwhmax.net.

The only way to resolve these hosts is via the glue records in
the .net zone. This is clearly 'broken', the rwhmax.net zone
should contain A records for all domain names in the zone,
regardless of availability of these records in parent zone (on
    the form of 'glue' records).

Using some servers to resolve hosts in the mivo.net zone yields
better results than other. I think the difference is in how
different servers handle glue record and for eaht purpose they
    are willing to use them.

I think all domains for which ns[12].rwhmax.net is authorative
are affected by this problem, not just mivo.net.

I am in no way affiliated with mivo.net. They are mentioned here
as an example. Our attention was called to this matter by one of
our own customers who was having problems resolving hosts in the
mivo.net zone through our DNS servers.

    Regards,

    Mark de Vries.

If you don't have A-records set up for your nameservers, you should add them to fix the problems.

Not having A-records for your nameservers causes random outages for people using certain ISP's.
