    Hi
The file editor inside built in file manager does not save docs (i.e. I click on the disk icon and nothing happens) in Google Chrome browser. Tested cPanel in IE on my system just to make sure and it worked as expected.

When can Chrome compatibility be built in to file manager/editor?

I know there used to be some issues with using Chrome in File Manager but I haven't personally experienced issues with using Chrome with cPanel/WHM in a while. What's the full version information for your cPanel installation?

For 11.24.4-RELEASE build 32486 or later, those issues should be resolved. Feel welcome to have your hosting company contact us directly so we can investigate this issue.

Just so you know, Google Chrome and Safari are both based off Webkit. In our changelog (http://changelog.cpanel.net), you'll find entries for Safari. Those entries are often applicable to Google Chrome as well as they both use Webkit.
