I want to be able to send mail out from the server as domain.com, but I am using the google for domains too. Does this look right?

    Code:
    domain.com. IN TXT "v=spf1 a mx ptr ip4:xx.xx.xx.xx a:ns1.domain.com a:ns2.domain.com include:aspmx.googlemail.com -all"

Most mail i receive from is from *.google.com not googlemail.com. So you could do

    include:aspmx.googlemail.com include:google.com include:gmail.com

That should cover most domains google might sent from. Just be careful with 'ptr' if you have a good reliable DNS server, your libel to cause some strain on it if you get a lot of email.

I'm not sure I'm understanding this right, but I get the impression that if I don't include the ip then there is no need for the ptr. Is this correct?

    Thanks.
